All rooms are en-suite and have a television, kettle and beverage tray, fridge and microwave for guests' comfort.
At the front of the house in the Victorian extension are two large elegant rooms, a twin and a double, overlooking the front garden. In one room the glazier left his signature and '1886" engraved on the window - the bay windows were exceptionally large for their period. The bathroom of both has a bath, shower, washbasin and w.c. One of the bathrooms is accessed by two steps. Both have kitchen facilities and can be used for self-catering.
In the middle landing are two smaller but good sized rooms, a double room with bath, wash basin and w.c. and the other a twin room with shower, washbasin, w..c.
Through to the rear landing is the complex of a double and twin rooms which share a bathroom. These rooms are in the main house but independent and at night the doors can be left open.
The bedrooms are simply furnished and we aim to provide what guests need. Buffet breakfast is taken in our dining room or we have an arrangement with the local pub to provide a cooked breakfast at a reduced price (we pay the difference).
We regret that all bedrooms are upstairs on the first floor and therefore not suitable for the disabled. Also, downstairs, because of the age of the property, there are different levels with steps.
We are eco in our outlook and our toiletries and household products are free from the normal suspect ingredients.
